Professor Maozu Lu , Dean of the Chinese School of the University of Strathclyde, UK, gave a high-level academic lecture “The Historical And Practical Significance Of The Bretton Woods Agreement: Can The US-Dollar Monopoly Be Sustained” on Zoom.
Maozu Lu, a well-known British-Chinese economist and financial scientist, has a PhD in Economics from the University of Southampton, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oxford. He is currently the Dean of the Chinese School of the University of Strathclyde in the UK. The main research directions are China's financial market, China's monetary policy and exchange rate control, comparative studies of cultural economics, and financial econometrics.
